About the event
Since its beginnings in 1826, the regatta has grown significantly. Today, more than 500 boats compete daily over seven days across up to forty classes, including handicap, one-design, and multihull categories. The unique blend of classic and cutting-edge designs sets the regatta apart. Around 5,000 sailors now take part, from Olympic and world-class yachtsmen to enthusiastic weekend racers.
