About the event
Cowes Week is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious sailing regattas. Held annually in August on the Solent since 1826, the event features around 40 races each day, with approximately 500 boats and 2,500 participants. Competitors range from Olympic and world-class sailors to enthusiastic amateurs, making it the largest regatta of its kind globally.
