About the event
The RORC Easter Challenge is the perfect way for Sailing Hounds to kick off the season. We’ll be heading out on Mad Dash, our Eland 410, putting our new Doyle Stratis race main through its first proper test in a high-quality but supportive racing environment.
Designed as a pre-season tune-up, the event combines competitive racing with hands-on coaching. With RRS 41 relaxed, experienced coaches will be on the water to help crews sharpen boat handling, sail trim, starting technique, and racing in clear air. A variety of courses and wind angles makes it an ideal opportunity to build confidence, refine teamwork, and get race-ready fast.
Each day wraps up with relaxed debriefs at the RORC Cowes Clubhouse, plus the event’s much-loved Easter egg prizes — a fun finish to focused sailing.
